To all the CPD Family. Hope all is well with all of you. As for Walter, he and his family are still in need all of you prayers. THANKS !!!

Walter had another conference with his doctor yesterday: his time is limited but no one knows for sure except God. He’s still in good spirits. Not giving up but if his time is closer than expected then so be it, he’s ready… he still does not want any phone calls for now. We can understand that. He’s tired a lot which is one condition of the conditions he has. He’s trying to get past this week. After this week and possible next week he said he’ll initiate calling people. Keep praying for him and his family

The latest information on Walter’s condition is:
He has cancer on or near his pancreas. His doctors are trying to determine if he should have an operation or not. Their decisions may be made next week. At the present time Walter is NOT IN PAIN and HE IS IN GOOD SPIRITS. Until his doctors give him their decision keep praying for him and his family.
For now, Walter request to all except Law117 and Greg, no phone calls. He stated his cell and house phone message center has been full and he cannot fulfill calling back. He’s a little tired right now, maybe a little while later he’ll be able and/or will receive phone calls. We can understand that. He said if he needs to talk to someone he will call them - Doc…
Let’s respect his request. It’s not he don’t want to talk to anyone he’s just tired.
You who sent your greetings via me, he thanks you from his heart and soul. After next week he hopes to see you and communicate with you as best he can. Have to remember he still have troubles saying words during a long conversation. So if everyone is calling he can’t speak.
When the time come I’ll keep you informed. Everyone stay prayerful and let us live the life God has given us. It’s not over until it’s over – permanently.
All right church going folks, you know what you have to do…

Walter did not have surgery this morning. He’s being discharged as I type this email to you plus he’s ‘ready ready’ to go home. The tests shows what they believe to be possible a tumor on his pancreas therefore more tests next week before they decide what the next steps they will take. They will do a biopsy which will indicate exactly what is going on within. He was given pain pills because at this stage he’s in a lot of pain. In any event this is not good for Walter with this kind of condition(s).
Don’t call his home number for at least a day, he needs some rest. Should you slip by – ok. He’s still in good spirits and talking a little. So we have to wait and keep praying for him and family. I will keep you updated on him…

Update: Walter did not have surgery this morning. Kaiser do not know exactly what his problem(s) is/are. But part of his medical problems has something in part to do with his liver. His ‘doctors’ are still not sure. They are waiting on tests given before they decide what to do next. Also don’t know if he’ll be in the hospital after tonight, all base on what his doctors find from the tests. The hospital he’s in is at Kaiser in Fontana MXA building Rm 1638 next to the emergency building. He is however talking a little. He said it’s best he write down what he has to say… jr

Kaiser specialists found from testing: Walter’s pancreas is putting pressure on his liver which in turn causing the liver not to remove toxics from his body. For now they will put a stem in his liver and will decide later if his pancreas will have to be remove. He was given a blood thinner shot and they have him walking around so he won’t develop any blood clots. He is in good spirit and understand his medical condition(s). I was told the hospital will decide tonight if he will have surgery tomorrow morning, he ate today therefore they have to wait for the right time for surgery. Keep him in your prayers.
