Retired Compton Police Sergeant Johnny Garrett passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007. Johnny, who had been plagued by emphysema and other health problems, died following complications. He was one day short of his 74th birthday.

Services will be held in the Galleria (mausoleum)
Procession will depart from the Galleria to the Lake of Memories. Attendants have requested that all parties depart prior to the lowering of the casket.

On July 12th, court tv is going to have a special on Jimmy and Kevin's case. Can you please post this and spread the word. Hope all is well with everyone there. Please let me know if you get this ok.

They changed it, we just got the call today, it will be on the 13th at 10:30pm
Also, doubt if anyone will come but would you please post about the concert.
The Second Annual, Santa Rosa Live, Sketch comedy, live music. All to benefit the Jimmy Mac Donald Peace Officers Scholarship Fund. Up and coming country singer/writer, Pete Stringfellow singing his hit song, "Santa Rosa", The Beaudettes, a comic/singing group, 3 acts from Hollywood, The Frank and Todd Show, Mary Pat Farrell, singer/songwriter, Lloyd Dobbler's "Boom Box". Tickets $25.00
